Using a playful exploration of simple book forms Nancy will guide students step-by-step through the construction of a variety of unique folds and binding techniques to produce six or seven innovative book structures, many of which she has designed especially for this class. Using a "nothing is wrong only different approach" participants will start with simple forms and build towards more complex structures. Some books will contain pockets, others hidden compartments, elaborate covers or spines. All ready to be adorned and embellished. Great to use as gifts. An ideal class for artist, scrapbookers and teachers. Nor previous bookmaking experience is required.
